Elbow and Lower Arm: The elbow of your release arm should be pointed away from your target, with the forearm parallel to the floor. On the other hand, the elbow of your bow arm should be pointed at an outwards and slightly downward angle, away from the bow.
The elbow of the bow’s arm will have a slight bend at the correct position. Likewise, the bow hand will also position itself properly when the bow arm’s elbow is positioned correctly; the thumb will be at a roughly 45-degree angle.
